Birdhaus is a conceptual bio-art piece that spans across several mediums. Initially starting out as a photography series of microscopic shots of a deceased bird, a common sight on the streets of Newark due to pollution and low-visibility windows. This difficult fact of this urban landscape inspired me to interact with these photos as possible, utilizing them across mediums. The original photographs now exist as a wooden Birdhaus sculpture, and a glass casting of a 3D model of the original photograph.
