Scarlet Magazine is a student-made, professor-organized magazine based out of Rutgers University, Newark.

I’ve worked with Scarlet Magazine, designing layouts that work to emphasize the social and political commentaries this publication aims to share.

I joined the Scarlet Magazine team in 2024, its first issue after a 3-year hiatus. Recruited by the creative directors and fellow peers, Kai Nix and Trenton Soto, this was my first introduction to publication design. Kai and Trenton mentored me in the ins and outs of layout design, exposing me to a new world of communication.
